Volunteer – Scholarships Editor
Tomooh founded 2015 to serve Syrian refugees and other refugees in many countries. We provide different kind of services according to the need of the community, focusing on awareness raising through the information that we deliver by our strong social media (Facebook – Twitter – Linkedin and our website www.tomooh.org).
Role:
Under the supervision of the Education coordinator, the Editor should find, translate and rewrite the scholarship in Arabic to be between refugees and all Arab students hands. Also should post the article (the scholarship) in different FB groups and Telegram channels to make sure that biggest number of students will read.
Responsibilities:
1- Searching for good scholarships that has some criteria which decided by your line manager
2- Translating the scholarships and re-write in Arabic according to Tomooh policy.
3- Post the scholarships in our Facebook pages
4- Join any relevant Facebook group that focus on helping and supporting students, or any relevant groups you found it’s useful to post on it.
5- Help in any other activities for the team as needed.
Working hours:
You are expected to work three days a week to achieve the target (decided by your supervisor).
Benefits:
No salary for this position, but you will receive all related training that the time provides or our partners provide. Also we can give a recommendation letter when you need it if you worked for us for three months or more.
